xmas card update
Scanned in the drawing this evening.
Asked rat if we should do it in the usual greyscale or try colour this year because we have a colour printer now.
Colour it is.
Got the background from a photo taken one evening while the volunteers were working on the Santa Village over at the Civic Center.
Worked on the colouring for a while - it's different, naturally, than doing the black and white work.

Writing Update
Yes, I have actually been writing a bit lately. It has been mostly moving sentence structures around and cutting out repeated words and phrases to make things tighter, but yes, I have been writing. I am crossing my fingers I am able to get the first completed draft of this one story done by the end of the year.

CREATIVE UPDATE
I finished drawing and inking the holiday card. I had to make a trip to the art supply store for another 07 pen because mine was starting to stutter when I attempted to make consistent lines. It still works for colouring in sections but it doesn't draw lines well anymore. Ended up finding a 03 and 08 pen as well as a Japanese white ink pen for touchups. I bought another set of all numbers they had so I would have backups. Now I need to go over to the Santa's Village to shoot some backgrounds to add to the drawing once I get it scanned.
Finished a crocheted mutant potholder on Thanksgiving and started another one. Also started a table runner thingie with no pattern so Nasake can have something to kneel on for the photoshoot we will be doing eventually to try and win a doll.
Still doing a lot of doll photography. I know we recently got this digital camera but it is lacking some features I miss with a regular slr. I guess it is time to start sending out camera feelers to see what's available out there.

Is this Creative?
I have been working on a teacher's website lately. Nothing too flashy, just basic stuff.
No, the banner is NOT made in Flash. It's an animated gif.

I did NOT draw the little character on the site banner. The teacher drew it. I just darkened the pencil sketch and coloured it.
I have also been doing a few dribs and drabs of writing.
Been messing with some photography with my resin guys and planning a shooting script for a photostory to submit to a doll contest.
