I got a review for "Feather, Fur and Fleece" last Sunday over at Forever Fandom. How amusing!

I had planned on working on the holiday cards tonight but again, I fell asleep right after dinner and then could not function well after waking up. I did some crochet for presents while prone on the floor.

Looks like presents AND cards will be mailed out after the 25th.

Both the single 'anniversary' graphic and the 10-page photostory got sent out Tuesday/early Wednesday morning. More people said they turned stuffed in at the last minute, too, so the chances are slim we will win anything. Oh well.

Update

I think I have enough crochet finished for those who will get some for Xmas. Now I need to start gathering boxes and envelopes for mailing.

Now that I have two more dolls, I have to figure out how to get them into the alternative holiday card without having to reshoot it. I have an idea but I don't have time right now to do it.

Haven't had time to fiddle with the art card, either. I just may send it the way it is and not worry too much about the colour print quality now. Or just convert it to black and white and print it on the office laser again this year.

I am frantically trying to complete a 10 page photostory for a contest by the Dec 20th deadline. It looks like not many people have turned in entries yet so there is a chance we actually might win something. However, I suspect a last-minute entry rush will knock us out of any chances.

Because the art card is not printing the way I want it to print, I am going to do two holiday cards this year, one featuring resin, which will be the printed one. The photos print pretty good, and definitely better than the artwork, even when I pump it up to 2400 dpi and print on maximum.

well fuck...

Did a colour test print with what I had so far for the card and it sucks.

I have changed the dpi a few times and it still looks like crap.

I have changed it to greyscale and it still looks like crap.

I am going to try a greyscale print at the office on the laserjet.

We are also going to try what Kinkos can do with it.

We should probably try different paper, too.
