Believe it or not, I HAVE been scribbling words throughout this quiet spell. Some very strange things have been coming out so I don't know if they will ever be used. I won't even mention anything specific because these pieces just may not ever materialize into anything that will be put in a story.

I think about how close I am to completing a few stories and just have to shrug it off. I have English papers to write.

I never have problems with writer's block. I write when I have the time and inclination. If real life gets in the way, I make notes. Sometimes I don't write anything at all for a while. I know it is not writer's block - I just have other things taking up my time at the moment.

Recently I have tried to draw in Photoshop like I was doing an oekaki. The operative word is 'try'. I sent a 'feel better soon' Shu to . I thought it was pretty crappy, but I think it made her feel better, which was the whole point.

Last night I tried something using 150dpi, in an attempt to get the black lines cleaner. It did help make the lines look better.

I feel like I am almost back to square one when I am drawing directly in Photoshop. The stuff is clunky and ugly. I guess I just need to continue practicing.

Of course, the computer is fucked again so a reformat will be occurring soon.

This past week, in a little notebook, I wrote on a story outline I had not touched in over a year. I also ended up writing a page of words in a standard notebook (in the back of my Japanese notebook) on more of the scenario. It is always interesting to see what Grunt has inspiration for when I pick up one of my outline/bits-and-pieces notebooks. Believe it or not, the story happens in a hospital - oh the horrors of one of the top ten over-done Gravi plot devices! Heheh, those who know my work know I always do something no one has considered before...

Because of the recent computer disaster, I have put the website on hiatus indefinitely.
