When mel_mel_chan said she was knitting my guys scarves, it spurred me to pull out one of my many baskets of yarn - the one with the 100% cotton stuff - and kick-start my brain into crochet again. The first potholder had to have stitches pulled out of it numerous times, but I now have two and a half mutant potholders completed. I also pulled out some green varigated chenille yarn and just started doing a single crochet with three double crochet rows in the middle and now I have a super-long doll scarf for Shuichi - very Doctor Who in length.
That's one of the main things I did this weekend - crochet. It's an interesting creative outlet.
By doing this, I am making Xmas gifts and using up yarn, thus emptying baskets and cutting down on stuff.

"Sea Sex Shun" got a review at ff.net last night. It wasn't a great review, just "awwcute lol" but it was nice it got one, since it seems to be one of my least successful stories out there, along with "Tears in the Rain". "Sea Sex Shun" only got three reviews out at gurabite, which surprised me. *shrug* Oh well, beggers cannot be choosers. I have been terrible about giving reviews myself the past few months, which is not like me.
Before the eviction crap, I was actually working on some stories as well as beta-reading some stuff. I am kinda pissed I haven't been able to get back to either. I felt close to completing one of my own pieces and now the motivation is gone.
