writing update
No beta can be done until April - J is in the middle of a book and I know that is much more important than a piddly fanfic. Writing is the family's livelihood and I can most definitely wait while they work.
I may even have another fic or two ready by then.
Now I can sit back and relax for a while, while freaking out about the class I need to prep.

The muse decided to cooperate and I got the section completed on the fic.
I think it is time to release it for the first beta, but since J seems to be very busy at the moment, I think I will sit on it for a little while.
I will probably contact J later in the week and see if a little reprieve or breather from the publishing stuff is feasable. If not, I can wait.

it figures...
And here I thought I had almost completed a story I started last year at this time. But no, I find I need to show how Eiri and Shu's relationship has changed and how they know each other pretty well now. I am also tying bits to other in-progress stories into this one.
Why are my muses this way?
Oh well, maybe next year...
It also figures I am feeling this need to write because I SHOULD be working on the class I will be teaching in March.

After working hard on the photographs, I won (with mel_mel_chan's help) the non-Chinese section of the Dollzone photostory contest - and got a doll with faceup and clothes. More at the doll journal.
Wrote the majority of a drabble at work yesterday.
Trying to complete a story started 1/6/06.
